KASK has been setting benchmarks in helmet design for the past two decades. In addition to cycling helmets, the company has deep experience developing protection for winter sports, equestrian sports, and workplace safety. Maybe that’s why Kask helmets have made it on the heads of Tour de France champs, Olympic teams, and multiple road cycling title winners.

Now, the renowned helmet maker launches a redesigned Protone Icon bike helmet.

Improved aerodynamics, ventilation, and an updated look merge to improve one of Kask’s most popular road helmets. The brand tells us that it developed the new Icon, as it does all of its helmets, according to the company’s rotational impact protocol, WG11.

A seamless architecture joins the top and bottom sections of the shell. A refined OCTOFIT+ retention and adjustment system and rubber inserts are meant to provide the rider with more comfort, stability, and balance across the crown and nape of the neck. As a bonus, the OCTOFIT+ design boasts a larger adjustment dial than before and room for however much ponytail you can throw in it.

Coolmax fabric lining amps up the helmet’s ventilation and cooling factors, and riders can remove it easily for regular washing.

The Kask Protone Icon road cycling helmet is now available for $300 / 300€ in three sizes (S-L) covering head sizes 50-62cm. In a medium it weighs 230g, claimed.

It comes in 10 gloss or matte colors. Order directly from Kask or any one of its retail partners.
