Our second Anti-Ageing April video recipe is how to make a Himalayan Salt Exfoliator with just three ingredients – Himalayan Salt, mint (dry or fresh) and of course our ingredient of the week apple cider vinegar.

Himalayan salt, is harvested with minimal processing, in mines in the Himalayan mountains and is rich in numerous natural minerals and trace elements such as calcium, iron, potassium and magnesium, that the body needs. Its pink colour is due to trace amounts of iron oxide or rust.

Using Himalayan salt as a natural exfoliator will help to buff away the dead skin cells while the mint will help to freshen your skin. What’s more, mint leaves can act as a mild astringent that helps to tone the skin.
