What Is Dole Whip

Dole Whip is a pineapple-flavoured soft-serve ice cream famously available at Disneyland’s Tiki Bar. The iconic treat is pretty synonymous with Disneyland. You’re almost guaranteed to see a long lineup for it on a hot day. (P.S. Use the app to order ahead to beat the line!). To say I fell in love would be an understatement, so I knew I have to recreate it.

This at-home version uses simple wholesome ingredients and is as close to the authentic Disney one as you’ll get!

Tip: to get the infamous “swirl”, freeze the blended mixture for about 1 hour before transferring it to a piping bag with a large “star” tip (if you freeze it for longer just blend it again before piping it). Alternately, if you have an ice cream maker, you can process the mixture in the machine and then add it directly to your piping bag after. No matter how you get this tasty treat into your bowl, it will taste delicious!
