But let’s admit it, there is a different kind of satisfaction that we get when we make such treats ourselves. Now we know that you must be thinking that choco lava cake is one of the most challenging recipes to try. But not with this recipe. Here we bring you a quick and easy choco lava cake that will be ready in 10 minutes! Yes, you read that right.

The recipe that we bring you today is by Chef Ranveer Brar. Chef Ranveer often posts recipes on his Instagram and YouTube. His recent creation of this easy 10-minute choco lava cake has caught many’s attention. This recipe requires basic everyday ingredients required in baking. So, you won’t need anything fancy. You can surprise your loved ones with this fantastic dessert with just a few things. Check out the recipe below:

10-Minute Choco Lava Cake: Here’s How To Male 10-Minute Choco Lava Cake


For Wet Ingredients

1/2 cup Chilled Water

3 tbsp Oil

1 tsp Lemon juice

1/2 cup Powdered sugar

1 tsp Vanilla essence

For Dry Ingredients

A pinch of Salt

2 heaped tbsp Cocoa powder

1/2 cup Maida

1/2 tsp Baking soda

100 gm Dark chocolate

For Dusting Mould

1 tsp Butter

2 tbsp Maida

For Dusting Mould

1 tsp Butter

2 tbsp Maida


First, add chilled water, oil, lemon juice, powdered sugar, and vanilla essence to a bowl and mix everything properly. Then, mix salt, cocoa powder, maida, and baking soda for the dry ingredients in another bowl. Now, take any desired mould, apply butter, and keep it in the freezer to set the butter. Now remove it, dust some maida, and place it again in the freezer.

Mix the dry ingredients with wet ingredients and combine them properly. Once it’s mixed, remove the mould from the freezer and add 2-3 spoons of batter, then add a small cube of dark chocolate and again add one spoon of butter. Repeat this in all other moulds. Keep the filled moulds in the freezer for a minute. Place it in a hot steamer and steam it for 4-5 minutes, not more than that.

After that, remove the cake from the mould gently and serve warm!
